The AU Steel Sections Library does not require an account and does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics.

Contact form

When you submit the contact form, your name, email address and message (plus the optional company, country and phone fields) are sent by email to the developer solely to respond to your inquiry. They are not sold or shared with third parties.

Cookies and local storage

• A language preference cookie (ausl_lang) remembers your chosen language.
• A security cookie (ausl_csrf) protects forms against cross-site request forgery.
• BOM drafts are stored only in your own browser (local storage) when you choose to save them.

Server logs

To prevent abuse, the contact form keeps a short-lived, anonymised (hashed) record of submission times per IP address.
